A Jackson County Judge sentenced Glenn McGinnis to a total of 175 years in prison for multiple child sex charges, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.
The Judge sentenced McGinnis, DOB:10/8/85, to 25 years on each count 1-7 to run consecutively and 7 years each on counts 8 and 9 to run concurrently for a total of 175 years.
A Jackson County jury found McGinnis guilty in May 2022 of five counts of Statutory Sodomy 1st degree, Attempted Statutory Rape 1st degree, Attempted Statutory Rape 1st degree, and two counts of Statutory Rape 2nd degree.
According to court records, child victims told forensic interviewers at the Child Protection Center that the defendant had touched their private areas. A separate victim, 12, disclosed to Children's Division investigators that the defendant had touched her inappropriately.
Assistant Jackson County Prosecutors Arthur Bridgens and Kelly Collins prosecuted the case on behalf of the State of Missouri.
