A Kansas City man has been charged in the carjacking of a woman's vehicle at a Midtown gas station, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.
Keith B. Hudson, dob: 1/3/1982, faces Robbery 1st Degree and Receiving Stolen Property charges.*
According to court records, a victim reported to police that a man approached her at a gas station in the 3700 block of Broadway and took her purse and vehicle. Police tracked the vehicle to another location on Paseo, took Hudson into custody and found other reported stolen items, including credit cards and IDs.
Prosecutors requested a bond of $100,000 cash.
