Three persons have been charged in the murder in early April of a 29-year-old Osawatomie, KS, man, Michael Luckey, whose body was found on Blue River Road, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.
Micah Dozier, dob: 4/24/1999, Tayelor Fitzpatrick, dob: 5/30/1996, and Larry K Wren III, dob: 3/28/1999, each face Murder 1st Degree, Robbery 1st Degree, two counts of Armed Criminal Action and Tampering with Physical Evidence.*
According to court records, the three co-defendants and a juvenile lured the victim to Kansas City through Craig’s List. They intended to rob him. In turn, he was stabbed multiple times, resulting in death. The suspects then took his credit cards and purchased several hundred dollars’ worth of electronics and other items. They burned his vehicle and wrapped the body in a tarp and disposed.
Prosecutors have requested a bond of $500,000 for each defendant.
