A Jackson County jury has convicted a second KC man in the Halloween 2014 murder of Dionte Greene in south Kansas City, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.
The jury late Thursday found Antonio Golston, dob: 2/18/1994, of Voluntary Manslaughter, Robbery 1st Degree and two counts of Armed Criminal Action.
The jury recommended 25 years in prison on the Robbery conviction, 15 years on the manslaughter and 10 years on each Armed Criminal Action conviction. A judge will sentence Golston on Nov. 18 at 1:30 p.m.
A Jackson County jury earlier convicted Golston's co-defendant, Travone Shaw, of Involuntary Manslaughter, Stealing and two counts of Armed Criminal Action. Shaw was sentenced to 17 years in prison.
Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Chris Accurso and Chief Deputy Daniel Nelson prosecuted the case on behalf of the state of Missouri.
