A 56-year-old Kansas City man has been charged in the Saturday night fatal stabbing of Isaiah Jones, after an argument with the suspect, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced tonight.
Brian K. Morrow, dob: 5/24/1962, faces felony charges of Murder in the 2nd Degree and Armed Criminal Action.*
According to court records, witnesses told police that the suspect and the victim had been in an argument. The victim struck the defendant and then the defendant stabbed the victim. One witness told police that just before the physical altercation between the two men, the defendant stated, "I'm gonna cut him."
Prosecutors have requested a bond of $500,000.
