A Jackson County jury has convicted a Hermann, MO., man of multiple felony counts in connectionn with the 2017 fatal shooting of William Domann in his Independence residence, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today
Nathan Hendricks, dob: 9/20/1971, was found guilty late Thursday of Murder 2nd Degree, Armed Criminal Action, Burglary 1st degree, Attempted Robbery and a second Armed Criminal Action charge. He will be sentenced on Sept. 20.
According to court records, Independence police found the victim, William Domann, deceased in his residence on E. 43rd Street South in Independence. He had been shot multiple times after being restrained. Independence police identified the three defendants. One defendant was shot during a struggle with the victim and his blood was found at the murder scene.
Assistant Prosecuting Attorneys Jeremy Baldwin and Arthur Bridgens prosecuted the case on behalf of the state of Missouri.
