A 20-year-old Kansas City man faces multiple felony charges in connection with the Nov. 15, 2016, fatal shooting of Antonio Williams in south Kansas City, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.
William M. Enloe, dob: 9/28/2016 faces Murder 2nd Degree, Assault 1st Degree and two counts of Armed Criminal Action.*
According to court records filed today, police responded to the area of Bannister Road and Drury Avenue regarding shots being fired. They found a victim who said the shooting had occurred at a Phillips 66 in the 5500 block of E. Bannister Road. The victim stated he and another victim were meeting men at a gas station. When they met the suspect began to shoot at them. Surveillance video showed one suspect leaving items inside the store that police used to get fingerprints of Enloe. Text message between Enloe and one victim showed they were texting about trading firearms. Enloe told police he was at the store when shooting began and fired his handgun.
Prosecutors requested a bond of $100,000.
