A 21-year-old Raytown man has been charged in connection with his father's assault and stabbing, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.
Kevon M. Jones faces Domestic Assault in the 1st Degree and Armed Criminal Action.*
According to court records, Raytown police found the 46-year-old victim at his residence. The defendant told police officers that he stabbed his father but had no reason to do so except he was angry.
Prosecutors have requested a bond of $250,000.
