A Kansas City man has been charged with assaulting two KCPD officers after he struggled with them and injured them, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.
Trevorwayne Bradbury, dob: 09/25/1975, faces two counts of Assault in the 1st Degree and Assault in the 3rd Degree.*
According to court records filed today, officers responded Saturday evening to a store in the Northeast area of Kansas City on a disturbance call. The officers, while attempted to arrest the suspect, became involved in a physical struggle. The defendant struck the officer in the face and gouged his eyes, injuring his eye. A second officer suffered cuts, bruises and other injuries.
Prosecutors requested a $25,000 bond.
