A Jackson County jury convicted today the husband, Vincente Roldan-Marron in fatal stabbing in January 2017 of his wife, Yadira Gomez, and recommended life without parole, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.
After less than two hours of deliberation, the jury found Roldan-Marron guilty of Murder in the 1st Degree and Armed Criminal Action.*
The defendant was accused in connection with the brutal stabbing on Jan. 30, 2017 of his wife, Yadira Gomez. The jury recommended that the defendant be sentenced to life without parol and life in prison. A judge will sentence the defendant on Aug. 16 at 10:30 a.m.
