Missouri State Auditor Nicole Galloway will be in Kansas City today (Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016) to discuss a new bipartisan effort to increase penalties for government officials who steal public dollars. Senate Bill 176 increases the penalties for public officials convicted of misconduct, and grants additional authority to Missouri prosecuting attorneys and law enforcement agencies. Galloway will address the media at 1:30 p.m. today in the lobby of the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office, 415 E. 12th Street (Downtown Courthouse).
