A Kansas City man was sentenced today to life in prison without parole for fatally stabbing Louise Dickey in 2016, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.
Cory L. King, dob: 3/27/1990, pleaded guilty to Murder 1st Degree and Armed Criminal Action on Monday, as his case was set to go to trial. He was sentenced to Life in Prison Without Parole and Life sentences, to run concurrently.
Assistant Prosecuting Attorneys Jeremy Baldwin and Traci Stansell prosecuted the case on behalf of the state of Missouri.
