A defendant in a 2014 Lee's Summit murder case has been sentenced by a Jackson County judge to 22 years in a Missouri prison, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.
Trevaris Rachel, dob: 4/8/1993, was sentenced by the judge to 22 years on each conviction of Murder 2nd Degree, Robbery 1st Degree and two counts of Armed Criminal action. In addition, he was sentenced to seven years on four counts of receiving stolen property. The judge set all sentences to run concurrently.
A second co-defendant in the murder in Lee's Summit of Matthew Parker on Oct. 30, 2014 is scheduled to be sentenced on Friday.
Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Jeremy Baldwin led the prosecution on behalf of the state of Missouri.
