Domestic Violence & Youth Employment Focus Of COMBAT
Mid-Year Funding News Conference On Wednesday
Jackson County COMBAT will be awarding nearly $1.5 million in funding to address two crucial anti-violence issues: domestic violence and youth employment. The County Legislature approved the funding today.
Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker and COMBAT Director Vince Ortega will join representatives from some of the agencies receiving this mid-year funding for a news conference Wednesday (June 16) afternoon at the DeLaSalle Education Center in Kansas City.

The news conference will be held in the DeLaSalle Education Center's library on the main floor.
