A Kansas City man has been charged in the fatal shooting yesterday of Keva Hill near 59th and Agnes in Kansas City, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.
Kelshaun D. Moseley, dob:, faces Murder 2nd Degree and Armed Criminal Action charges.*
According to court records, the defendant met about 4 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, with an off-duty police officer working at Research Medical Center and told him something had happened and someone was dead. He said he was turning himself in. Kansas City police officers soon found the victim in a residence near 59th and Agnes. She had been shot fatally. Family members told police she had been in a relationship with the defendant.
Prosecutors requested a bond of $250,000 cash.
