A Jackson County jury today found Larry Clay guilty in the March 2013 murder of Joel M. White, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.
The jury convicted Clay, 55 (dob: 5/12/1959), of Murder 2nd Degree and Armed Criminal Action.
According to court records, Clay told police he shot the victim after he exited his residence. White’s body was found on the driveway. White, 45, was unarmed.
Sentencing was set for Feb. 20 at 10:30 a.m. before judge Kathleen A. Forsyth.
